Mare is caring, yet fierce. If you were to mess with Abby, you automatically mess with Mare. |
 | Shepley 'Shep' Shepley is the cousin to Travis and the boyfriend to America. Shep is really passionate and caring, yet he can be tough. He is madly in love, and he thinks Travis will mess it up for him. Shep gives him advice throughout the book to Travis like Mare does to Abby. He tells Travis to stay away from Abby, but that does not stop Travis. Shep and Mare were the ones who knew Travis's true feelings about Abby. They both try giving hints over and over to Abby, but she denys it. Shep loves Travis and tries to help him step by step. |
